Mirjam Varadinis is Curator-at-large @ Kunsthaus Zurich and the Founder and Director of the Mirjam Varadinis Art Agency. With an extensive international career, her curatorial practice explores expanded formats of contemporary curating, often extending beyond the institutional boundaries. 
 
She regularly contributes to artist publications, exhibition catalogues and art magazines. Her portfolio includes large-scale international exhibitions such Manifesta 12 in Palermo (2018), a special project for the 5th Moscow Biennial of Contemporary Art (2013) and an annual contemporary arts festival of in Toulouse, France, using the city as material. 
 
At Kunsthaus Zürich, she has curated major exhibitions featuring some of the most prominent contemporary artists, including Marina Abramović, Yoko Ono, Olafur Eliasson, Kader Attia, Pipilotti Rist, Cindy Sherman, Rosa Barba and Urs Fischer.
 
Based in Zurich, the Mirjam Varadinis Art Agency, Switzerland, offers a wide range of services in the fields of contemporary art: conceiving and curating landmark exhibitions in Switzerland and abroad, strategically advising institutions, companies and private collectors as well as developing educational formats and research-driven projects. A key focus of her work also lies in re-thinking the intersection of art and sustainability.
